You simply cannot get this through to anyone who lives in their ego. And that’s fine. They are not your responsibility anyway. Whatever they do in their life, they will have to answer for. EGO cannot control a spiritual connection of any kind. And someone with half a brain will figure that out pretty quickly. So if they don’t “get it” it’s because they don’t WANT to get it. They WANT to keep living in their ego. Walk away.
