Many of us were raised to believe that paper towels are a necessity. What I love about the zero-waste movement is that it calls out the unnecessary and excessive consumerism-for-the-sake-of-consumerism that most of us were raised with. It reveals excess where there doesn’t need to be (if you don’t want it). Paper towels aren’t the worst, but their cost adds up over time and the waste is not usually necessary. #zerowaste
