How to prepare and lesson plan for Guided Reading in a special ed self contained classroom. When you teach in a self-contained classroom, you have a huge array of student ability levels and disabilities. This makes lesson planning for different reading groups with varying strengths + weaknesses a little more challenging. It’s not impossible, but it’s challenging.
