Body fat set point is the theory that our bodies are at homeostasis with a certain range of body fat. That is generally 12-15% body fat for males and 18-22% body fat for women. This is normally the body fat percentage that active men and women are at in their early 20’s. As we age body fat levels tend to increase. What if we are older and we wish to lower our set point levels to where we were in our early 20’s? NEW research suggests this IS possible.
